Hey, I am Omar Perez

I’m Omar Perez, a sports and editorial photographer based in New York and New Jersey. With a background in journalism, I approach photography as a way of documenting the emotion, intensity, and stories that unfold around sports.

My work focuses on professional and collegiate sports, international competitions, and live events, with experience covering football, rugby, basketball, and American football.

I’m interested in more than the final play. I look for the moments that build the story — the emotion, the atmosphere, the people, and everything that happens beyond the scoreboard.

My goal is simple: to create authentic, impactful images that preserve the energy of the moment and give each story a visual identity.
